Experience
Dr. Kim received his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Colorado College. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He completed his internship and residency at Hennepin County Medical Center. He then went to Yale University, in New Haven, CT, to complete his gastroenterology fellowship. Dr. Kim has published research on probiotics and C.difficile infection and continues to publish research on colon polyps, colon cancer prevention, and quality colonoscopy. He has worked as a reviewer for medical journals, is active in medical education, and has held leadership positions with the Minnesota Medical Association and American Medical Association. He is a member of the Minnesota Medical Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
